Our Pastor

Pastor Mark Meier, Sr. and his wife Karla have lived in La Crescent since the end of 2019. He's the pastor of Messiah Lutheran Church in La Crescent and Grace Lutheran Church in Stockton. Mark served in the Navy and worked in a tape manufacturing plant in Oshkosh, Wisconsin (where he grew up) before entering the pastoral ministry. He has been a pastor for over thirty years and has served congregations in Iowa and Wisconsin. Concordia University Wisconsin and Concordia Theological Seminary - Fort Wayne, Indiana are where he received his pastoral training. Pastor and Karla have two grown sons and two grown daughters living in Minnesota, California, and Haiti. They have been blessed with twelve grandchildren. Pastor Meier would love to share his faith in Jesus Christ with you!
